G1200 Media currently have a great opportunity for an Accounts Payable & Receivable Manager within the Finance/Accounting team.

This position will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable department. The Accounts Payable & Receivable Manager will be tasked with continuous improvements of processes and procedures, in order to improve efficiency of all departmental products.   

The core responsibilities of this position include:

  • Responsible for the day-to-day supervision and leadership including coaching, developing, and motivating team members
  • Responsible for Purchase Card maintenance and review
  • Manages Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable duties
  • Ensure accurate and timely payments to vendors and collection and application of payments
  • Manage month end close duties related to accounts payable and accounts receivable, including reviewing and posting journal entries
  • Preparing accounts payable and accounts receivable general ledger reconciliations including sub ledger to general ledger reconciliation
  • Responsible for accounts payable and accounts receivable schedules necessary for financial reporting deliverables
  • Develop, implement, and maintain systems, procedures and policies, including accounts payable and receivable functions to ensure adherence to company guidelines
  • Handle sensitive inquiries and resolve complex issues related to accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Follow through on departmental and audit requests
  • Responsible for adhoc analysis and projects as needed

The minimum qualifications & requirements for this position include:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or other relevant fields
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and experience working with other departments
  • Experience in a supervisory role
  • Experience completing journal entries and related month end activities
  • Detail-oriented, with demonstrated leadership and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and thrive in a high volume, deadline-oriented environment 
  • Ability to be flexible with work schedule when required, work well with others and participate in a team environment
  • Experience managing difficult situations relating to customer
  • Excellent leadership, motivational, and coaching skills
  • Excellent customer service, relations and advocacy skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Effective team player with demonstrated work ethic and a strong initiative to succeed
  • Demonstrate understanding of assigned processes and ability to identify process improvements

 

 Soft Skills Requirements:

 

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel (importing & exporting data, using V-Lookup, Pivot tables, and other comparable Excel function, configuring formats, transferring large data sets, etc.) Microsoft Office,
  • Ability to learn a new system,
  • NetSuite experience is a plus
